In cities with a Chinatown, weekend mornings bring dim sum carts or order sheets, and lines form early at the most popular spots in Morrisville; walk-ins are standard and reservations are uncommon outside large banquet restaurants. Regional labels matter: Cantonese, Sichuan, Hunan, Shanghainese and Taiwanese kitchens cook very differently, so a restaurant's stated region is a better guide to the food than the word "Chinese" alone. Some smaller restaurants in North Carolina are BYOB with no corkage fee; call ahead to confirm. A tip of 15-20% is customary for table service but not expected at counter-order takeout. Spice level, MSG and allergen questions are normal to ask before ordering, and most kitchens are happy to leave an ingredient out or tone down the heat if you mention it when ordering rather than after the food arrives.

We ate here twice and honestly don’t understand how this restaurant has such a high rating. We’ve eaten at many Chinese restaurants across the U.S. and in Asia, and unfortunately this was one of the most disappointing. It’s not just that the food isn’t authentic—it simply doesn’t taste good. The rice was very hard, almost like it wasn’t fully cooked. We ordered four different dishes, and none of them were enjoyable. Everything was overly salty and greasy, yet somehow lacked the flavors the dishes were supposed to have. For example, the Hunan beef tasted like random vegetables and beef stir-fried together, without the distinctive flavor you would expect from Hunan beef. We tried to keep eating because we didn’t want to waste the food, but we eventually gave up after eating about half of it. Very disappointing, especially considering the ratings.

Thought we would be adventurous and try the Jellyfish Cucumber Salad. Google said it is hard to find anything but dried, salted jellyfish. This dish is fresh! The crunch and the textures were really fun! Fresh jellyfish is surprisingly non-slimy or squiggly. It was firm with a gentle bite with a light, fresh flavor. Not fishy at all. The jellyfish and cucumber complement each other so well! We all ate much more than we thought we would, and had to remind ourselves to save some to take home for another family member to try. We enjoyed the Korean Seafood Pancake for the seafood flavor variety and the delicious sweet & savory plum sauce. That’s good comfort food and a satisfying fill. (Not in photo.) Chinese Mixed Vegetables was a lightly savory blend of lotus root, black fungus, bamboo shoots, carrots, green peppers, and 2 other fungi we didn’t recognize, but sure liked the textures. Pork and glass noodles were medium-savory and the perfect texture. Wide noodles are not my favorite, but my kid liked them. Sweet and Sour Lotus Root has a tender crunch and a gently sweet flavor, with just a little sour to make it perky. We all loved that dish! Our server was so very friendly and he rea

My family have been going to this restaurant for many years since the begining when the owner bought the place. The original owner had it as Korean restaurant. The food was okay. The new owner recreated the entire manual and the food is amazing with the new menu. On top of the food, the owner treat every one of their guests like family of their own. My Mom, my daughter my friends all love come to the place. The welcoming feeling make you feel eating at home instead of a restaurant. The warmth and heartfelt eating wy this place makes us coming here regularly. If you are looking for an authentic Chinese restaurant l, look no other place, this is the one and only you wont miss it.

Staff seemed very nice, despite my order having been forgotten when I arrived to pick it up. They were quick to cook. Unfortunately, I returned home to find bugs in my rice. In addition, the General Tsos chicken had a lot of connective tissue making it chewy and unpleasant. The beef scallion dish was great, but after discovering the bugs, I had to immediately discard the food. My appetite was instantly ruined. No restaurant can be perfect, so, I hope they can reach out and make it right.

Food was good, authentic? Yes. Not the best though. Service was kind of mediocre. We were seated and no one came to us with a menu or anything. We had to walk all up to the front to get a menu as well as order our food. It has a family restaurant atmosphere but dang some kids are so loud and uncontrollable.
